TREND MADNESS
as i suspected, the crochet poncho craze is on the wane in new york city, which perhaps explains why the trend has just hit dublin like a multi-vehicular car wreck. walking around in nyc to my great relief, there’s not a poncho in sight… what i do see a lot of, however, are ipods… nearly every third pedestrian i pass by has one, with the unmistakable white earplugs roped around their necks. now, i really shouldn’t say anything about this, after all, i have an ipod too… but it’s interesting to note that ipod madness hasn’t hit dublin yet. i guess give it another 6 months to a year…
