THE ISLAND OF CRETE
jonah and i left dublin for the island of crete today! getting here was amazing, in more ways than you would think. we took this charter flight over, and man… when the girl sitting in the row across from you has had two beers by 8:00 AM, what are you supposed to think? before 8:30 she had already moved on to her third. it was scary!but despite the public drunkeness and severe signs of alcoholism from our fellow travellers we arrived safe and extremely happy - this is a beautiful place, and we’ve spent most of the day just wandering through the streets, and taking photos, like the one below:
reminds me of one of the projects done at amy and jonah’s workshop, communectivity - the project, seed spaces, where people distributed seeds to be placed in the cracks of sidewalks.
