Jill FantauzzaHello Catherine,

I met you at Ubicomp in Seattle through Sha Xin Wei. I was looking through your site to find your article on Wearables in Rhizome and found your reference to Indigo Som. Remember I kept telling you I thought I knew you from somewhere? I don't know if I mentioned it outloud, but I kept saying to myself, boy she reminds me of Indigo Som. I was staff at a place called Women's Studio Workshop years ago when she did a book arts residency there. Hmm.

oh my. indigo needs to visit this place called mister liu's in ivrea. this bizarre, out of place chinese restaurant in the boonies of italy. the food is fried in olive oil, and served italian style--as in main course first, then salad (or in this case, rice). this distresses the native italians as well, as they can only truly enjoy it as takeaway, when the main course can be mixed with rice in the privacy of their own homes. ha ha.
